DESCRIPTION:Jah Warrior Shelter High Fidelty is an award\nwinning soun
 d system based in California’s\nBay Area.\n\nSelector Jahson Reuben,
  alongside MCs E-\nDom, Quality and Monty Irie, originally ran\nthe so
 und out of Free Port Long Island, NY\nin 1987. In the summer of 1988, 
 Rocker T,\nhailing from Brooklyn NY, linked with the\ncrew and became 
 the official Singjay for Jah\nWarrior Shelter. Over the next 4 years\n
 Rocker T continued to build JWS, adding\nDJs and MCs including Puppy R
 anks, Major\n1, Jamalski, GT English, Lenky Don, Ronnie\nDread and Smo
 ki. With regular resident\ndances in Manhattan, NY including The\nWetl
 ands, Lonestar Café, S.O.B.’s, Tramps\nand The Z-Bar, JWS was a fix
 ture on NY’s\nreggae scene. In 1992, Jahson Reuben\nofficially hande
 d the sound to Rocker T.\n\nTeaming up with Daddy B and International\
 nHi Power, JWS ran the legendary Lions Den\nin Manhattan from 1994-199
 6. In 1996, after\nlinking with Monty Joe (Culture Yard), Jah\nWarrior
  Shelter had its first clash at Culture\nYard in Spanish Harlem. Held 
 at a\nTwelve Tribes of Israel Dance with Freddie\nMcGregor and Jah Fai
 th, JWS played the\nfew dubs that they had and gained a\nreputation as
  the “likkle big sound”.\n\nRocker T moved to California in 1997,\
 ntoured the West Coast, released several\nalbums and established himse
 lf as a top\nselector in the area. After being introduced\nby Jamalski
  to selector Jah Yzer, Rocker T\nbegan MCing for Jah Yzer across The B
 ay\nArea.\n\nIn 1998 Rocker T invited Jah Yzer to join him\nfor studio
  production work in NY. Bringing\nalong DJ I-Vier, Jah Yzer headed Eas
 t. After\nrunning a few dances in Manhattan over the\ncourse of that s
 ummer (Spoon, Coney\nIsland High), Rocker T added the two rising\nDJs 
 to Jah Warrior Shelter. All three\nreturned to the Bay Area and in 199
 9 DJ Irie\nDole joined the crew.\n\nThroughout the 2000’s Jah Warrio
 r Shelter\nhas established itself as one of California’s\nleading so

  well deserved recognition, not\nonly as a clash sound, but a top jugg
