Illogic has been absolutely instrumental in putting Ohio on the map in the hip hop world. His debut release, Unforeseen Shadows, created a real buzz among the underground hip-hop community in 1999. He has independently released many more classics since then, and even poetry books as of recent, Illogic has collaborated with many underground favorites such as Blueprint, Aesop Rock, Vast Aire(of Cannibal Ox), slug(of Atmosphere), and Eyedea, just to name a few. He has more recently been collaborating with producer Blockhead for the "Preparing for Capture" EPs, "Capture the Sun" LP, and "After Capture" LP that dropped just last year. These recent releases are a testament to his prolific career. When listening to the newer material, it becomes apparent very quickly that his creativity is as sharp as ever.
