Anakbayan's 11-year Anniversary featuring the East Bay Premiere of "SOUNDS OF A NEW HOPE" documenting the life and music of Filipino-American MC Kiwi, and the growing use of hip-hop in the Philippine struggle for national democracy.
This is a FREE event with DJ Psani,
& performances by Power Struggle
and The Kasamas.
Also celebrating the birthday of Andres Bonifacio,
father of the 1896 Philippine revolution.
