16 of the Chicago area's most talented artists will compete for the crown in a live, one-day painting competition. Winner will be flown to Oakland in October to compete in the Finals.

The Life Is Lving is an annual community gathering of artists, educators, presenters and performers focusing on literary performance and literacy education.
