 t DUB GABRIEL has been pushing the boundaries of rock, dub, world and 
 electronic music for over a decade. His musical explorations in Brookl
 yn in the mid 90’s drew him to the outer limits of the NYC scene whe
 re he got his start as a DJ at the legendary Limelight. His genre-bend
 ing style and hard-hitting sets launched him as a trailblazing figure 
 in the NY underground club scene and gained him the attention of leadi
 ng publications including Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine who haile
 d Dub Gabriel as “one to watch” in the city. Fast-forward to today
  and Dub Gabriel continues to build on this legacy in everything he do
 es - whether it’s creating original music, remixing projects or thro
 wing down slamming DJ sets. Most recently he has collaborated with Mic
 hael Stipe on a track for the album Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs of
  Mark Mulcahy. This is his second collaboration with Stipe - the first
  one being for Dub Gabriel’s 2008 album, Anarchy & Alchemy. The albu
 m has garnered critical acclaim from leading publications Pitch Fork, 
 New York Magazine, The Wire and CMJ, with Exclaim Magazine naming it t
