World-Renowned reggae band, Big Mountain started in 1986 in San Diego, California. They first hit the charts in 1992 with the song “Touch My Light” from their debut album, Wake Up. Following “Touch My Light,” Big Mountain released their cover of “Baby, I Love Your Way” in 1994. Originally written by Peter Frampton in 1975, it is one of the most recognized love songs and commercial hits of all time. That song and the band’s next major hit single, “Get Together,” continue to be crowd favorites at Big Mountain shows. After 10 consecutive years of touring, including two appearances at Jamaica’s Reggae Sunsplash Festival, Big Mountain took a break in 2005, occasionally reuniting for international performances for the next eight years. In May 2016, the band released Perfect Summer, their first album in 14 years.
