 nThis event is ALSO the 3 year anniversary of Beats, Rhymes and Life--
 -the longest ongoing monthly battle (beat battle, mc competition, crew
  battle, pop-lockin battle, etc.) in the Bay and probably Cali! The ev
 ent is also a double mixtape release party for Plex Rock of Del Mon Cr
 ew, and Animal Planet's mixtape release party. But wait, it's also Phi
 llipdrummond's 28th bday jam, and a canned food drive. Cats are flying
  in from NYC, Florida, Hawaii and the Mid-West to compete in this batt
 le and the Battle of the Bay III the day before in Oakland so expect s
 ome serious talent including two time Scribble Jam champ and World Rap
  Champion The Saurus. Nocando (scribble jam champ) and Mandess (Critic
 al Madness) will be judging along with the crowd as a third judge.\n\n
