YMR's program design creates opportunities for:
• Youth leadership & engagement
• Artistic development
• Job readiness, professional development & entrepreneurship
• Outlets for self-expression & positive recognition
• Critical thinking & community involvement
• Mentorship with supportive adults

About Namu:

Inspired by Korean and Japanese ingredients, philosophy
and techniques, NAMU is a much heralded addition to
San Francisco’s cutting edge Pan Asian dining scene.

Namu means wood or tree in Korean. It also means devotion
or direction in Japanese buddhist practice.
From the exquisite natural cypress bar that anchors
the contemporary minimalist room to the locally sourced
natural meats and organic produce used in the creative menu,
“Namu” represents our devotion to nature and its bounty
in food, drink and ambiance.
