MORNING 40 FEDERATION, with guests Happy Talk
Two night show for this New Orleans sensation. The music, that has kids going completely insane, is really what sets Morning 40 Federation apart from other bands. The term "sleazy burlesque" was coined by one fan to describe the band's sound. Their biggest musical influences are Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Tom Waits, and New Orleans' trad jazz legend King Oliver. While each influence is recognizable, the band's overall sound is completely unique. That's what has kept the band's progression steady and sure.
21 and over. Doors at 8pm. 9:30 showtime.
