Infin8 Sync, an independent production and creative events company, is leading a grassroots mission to provide a platform for local artists to showcase their work. Mayor Gavin Newsom made a dream become reality with the signing of the proclamation for Independent Artists Week to take place from Sept. 8-12th. The week of activities will take place from Sept. 7-13 at several locations throughout the city of San Francisco and each event day is dedicated to various art mediums such as fashion, film, music and graphic arts. The finale will be the 2nd Annual Music 'n Film Conference!

Festivities kick-off Sunday, September 7th with an Opening Celebration Party at Harputs Market.

Monday, September 8th, MoAD hosts a panel discussion on "The Future of Independent Arts," co-presented by ZSA-ZSA INC with panelists: Chuck D, Davey D, Catherine Enny and more!

Tuesday, September 9th, Get Sync'd: Music Opportunity Contest at Poleng Lounge where a winner receives a chance to record at Red Bull Studios in Santa Monica!

Wednesday, September 10th, "School Zone" and "Go Green" with participation and support from: African American Art and Culture Complex, SF Environment, local "live" artists, and many more!

Thursday, September 11th, "BYOA-Bring Your Own Art" includes a fashion workshop with live art and music performances.

Friday, September 12th, joins us at the Stones Throw Appreciation Party at Mighty with ST’s founder, the Bay Area’s own Peanut Butter Wolf, to celebrate the label’s 12 years in the independent music game.

Saturday, September 13th, "Music 'n Film Conference, Digital City: What You Need is in Your Own Backyard" with panelists from Imeem, Mozes, Inc, Current TV, IODA and more!

Independent Artists' Week is an outgrowth of a monthly independent artists showcase event (BYOA-Bring Your Own Art) hosted by Infin8 Sync, LLC. Independent Artists Week will showcase the best of BYOA and beyond! Portions of the proceeds will go to the following non-profits: SF Film Society and Cell Space.

Independent Artists' Week is forming alliances with various companies and services throughout the Bay Area! Please email: IAW@infin8sync.com for more information. For event schedule and additional information, please visit www.infin8sync.com
