Friday, May 23, 2008: 808 Media and Nerd Nate present Trip On This! & unofficial Nerd Nate Album release party. Featuring Om Records recording artist, and indie hip hop legend, Azeem performing live with The 808 Band, Fiyawata, Nerd Nate, DJ Lex (Souls of Mischief), DJ Max Kane (4OneFunk), hosted by Big Tunes.

Trip On This! at The Darkroom/Club Six, 60 Sixth Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. Doors open 9 p.m., OPEN BAR 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. $5 before 10:30 pm. 21 and over. Info: www.808media.com.

In a world where DJs spin the same tired cuts, and quality live music seems to be MIA in the club scene, Trip On This! brings it back with a fresh yet tried and true mix of live music, performances, and good-ol party vibes. Complimentary open well bar, from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Hosted by Big Tunes and Nerd Nate, and house band, The 808 Band, the event features dope live music, fresh MCs and DJs spinning slamming Bay Area bangers, and hip hop classics.
