In 2019, the Bronx, New Yorker assembled The Diam Piece 2, a sequel with an equally impressive lineup of guests and beats galore. The 16-track offering features a literal who’s who of classic Hip-Hop including Pharoahe Monch, Snoop Dogg, Erick Sermon, Fat Joe, Raekwon, Styles P, Elzhi, and many more. However, one MC that Heads might not have expected is Mississippi vet David Banner, who opens the latest single from the album, “Bodied.” This laid-back track also features Diamond’s longtime protege Big Rec, and Brooklyn multi-hyphenate, Edson Sean.
