Anderson .Paak appeared on The Tonight Show on Thursday (Feb. 21) to perform “Trippy” from his 2018 album Oxnard.
During the interview with host Jimmy Fallon, Paak discussed missing this year’s Grammys ceremony and his shared perfectionism with Dr. Dre, the executive producer of the album.
After mentioning the two albums-worth of music he created with Dr. Dre, the artist alluded to future releases that lean more on the side of soulful elements rather than the “grit” featured on Oxnard. “It’s lots of soul, a bigger tour, and the best teeth in the game,” he says of what’s next for him.
