An artist with no ceilings Wayne shares with us the importance of never being afraid to be yourself.

Having a career that spans four decades Lil Wayne has been a master at reinventing himself. From being the youngest Hot Boy on Cash Money Records, Mixtape Weezy grew as a lyricist and became a rock star, forever standing tall among his peers, the GOATS. The Young Money Executive is responsible for putting on stars such as Nicki Minaj and Drake, just to name a few.

In this episode Lil Wayne shares a lot of stories that span from the early days of Cash Money Records, to recording his classic mixtapes. The shocking revelation that the agency had altered the image was first reported in The Washington Post. In an exhibit called “Rightfully Hers: American Women and the Vote,” the National Archives had displayed a large image of the first Women’s March. But signs referencing Trump had been blurred to remove his name — including a poster reading “God Hates Trump” and another reading “Trump & GOP — Hands Off Women.” Other signs in the photo referencing female anatomy were also blurred. The National Archives initially stood by its decision to edit the photo, telling The Washington Post that the changes were made “so as not to engage in current political controversy.” For more, we turn to a historian who says this was only the latest example of “a great and growing threat to our nation’s capacity to protect and learn from history.” The National Archives reportedly is allowing millions of documents, including many related to immigrants’ rights, to be expunged. We speak with Matthew Connelly, professor of history at Columbia University and principal investigator at History Lab. His recent piece for The New York Times is headlined “Why You May Never Learn the Truth About ICE.”

#DemocracyNow De La Soul Is Getting ROBBED by Tommy Boy Records Still on Their 30th Anniversary tag:trueskool.com,2019-02-28:1464587:Video:684242 2019-02-28T00:08:13.986Z Editor's Pick http://trueskool.com/profile/RentheVinylArchaeologist

#DeLaSoul #TommyBoyRecords #SwayIntheMorning #SwaysUniverse

#DeLaSoul #TommyBoyRecords #SwayIntheMorning #SwaysUniverse Our Vinyl Weighs a Ton: This Stones Throw Records [FULL DOCUMENTARY] tag:trueskool.com,2015-10-07:1464587:Video:637657 2015-10-07T05:04:10.360Z Ren the Vinyl Archaeologist http://trueskool.com/profile/xh51jvilojur

After the death of a musician friend, Chris Manak founds a record label as a tribute and to promote hip-hop music.

After the death of a musician friend, Chris Manak founds a record label as a tribute and to promote hip-hop music.
