You liked any song from Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings? You like the Street Band, because some members come from that band. Enjoyed anything from Charles Bradley? Yep, there too. Nodded your head to a Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, or Cordae song? Uh-huh. Sang anything from Amy Winehouse? There, too! Ever rapped along to Jay-Z’s Roc Boys (And the Winner Is)…?” That song sampled the Band’s “Make The Road By Walking.”

The band will release their first album in over eight years, Exciting Sounds of…, on February 26th, 2021. Their first works since the tragic deaths of both Charles Bradley and Sharon Jones, it serves as the official follow-up to their 2012 album The Crossing.
