 le’s Discover Great New Writers program She's also the author of the
  novella If You're Not Like Me. Her short fiction has been published i
 n Narrative Magazine, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, Meridian, FiveCh
 apters, and McSweeney’s, among others. She is a staff writer for The
  Millions.  Robin Sloan is the author of Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Book
 store, which started out as a short story which you can read online. H
 e worked at Poynter, Current TV, and Twitter, figuring out the future 
 of media.  Lenelle Moïse's new poetry collection is Haiti Glass. Her 
 other performance projects include Ache What Make, Womb-Words, Thirsti
 ng and Speaking Intersections. Curve Magazine called her debut CD Madi
 vinez “piercing, covering territory both intimate and political...vi
 vid and powerful.” She was the 2010-2012 Poet Laureate of Northampto
 n, MA, the Spring 2011 Mellon Artist in Residence in the Performance S
 tudies department at Northwestern University and the recipient of the 
 2009-2010 Astraea Lesbian Writers Award in Poetry. She was also a Fall
  2011 Fellow at the Ellen Stone Belic Institute at Columbia College Ch
 icago and the Spring 2012 Visiting Performing Artist in African & Afri
 can Diasporic Studies at UT Austin.  Cecil Castellucci is the author o
 f books and graphic novels for young adults including Boy Proof, The P
 lain Janes, First Day on Earth, The Year of the Beasts, Tin Star and O
 dd Duck. Her picture book, Grandma’s Gloves, won the California Book
  Award Gold Medal. Her short stories have been published in Strange Ho
 rizons, YARN, Tor.com, and various anthologies including, Teeth, After
  and Interfictions 2. She is the YA editor of the Los Angeles Review o
 f Books, Children’s Correspondence Coordinator for The Rumpus and a 
 two time Macdowell Fellow. She lives in Los Angeles. In 2009 she was c
 ommissioned by ECM+ to write the libretto for an original opera with m
 usic composed by Andre Ristic, Les Aventures de Madame Merveille.  Chr
 istina Nichol is the author of Waiting for the Electricity, which won 
 the Rona Jaffe Award for Fiction and was a Reader's Digest summer pick
 .  Annelyse Gelman's new poetry collection is Everyone I Love is a Str
 anger to Someone. Her poems have appeared in Hobart, Indiana Review, T
 he Economy, Nailed Magazine, The Light Ekphrastic, Rufous City Review,
  Former People, The Destroyer, Atticus Review, MARY, Australian Book R
 eview, Swarm and elsewhere. She makes \"film-poems\" for her own work 
 and others, including \"Giraffe\", \"An Illustrated Guide to the Post-
