 n.com\n \nIn his 20-year career, San Francisco producer/DJ SHOCKMAN (
 a.k.a. Ron Nachmann) has been a stalwart supporter and curator of dub 
 and rhythm culture. In 2003, he collaborated with DJ Sep of Dub Missio
 n to produce the compilation Babylon is Ours: the USA in Dub, an unpre
 cedented 12-track survey of the American dub scene which was released 
 on the SelectCuts label (http://www.dubmissionsf.com/theusaindub.html)
 . Shockman has also released tracks with Future Primitive Sound and St
 ellar Trax Sound System, and been featured on the Murther EP with Jack
 ie's Army (Voltage/2004), the 2009 Voltage compilation, Dub For The Da
 ncefloor: Voltage Remixed and Unreleased, and \"Kalimba Rock\" with Du
 b I.D. on the Stateside Steppas compilation, Space Audio. His 2011 rel
 ease, Shock The Sound , included remixes by Canadian producers Dubmati
 x and Earlyw~rm. As a DJ, Shockmann has spun and shared the stage with
  the likes of Ohio Players, War, Bobby Hutcherson, Andrew Weatherall, 
 Thievery Corporation, Tino Corp, Fila Brazilia, Gotan Project, Zion Tr
 ain, Systemwide, Dr. Israel, DJ Krush, DJ Z-Trip and many more. \nhtt
