 e with its self-described \"Blade Runner funk,\" an intense blend of p
 ounding assaults and sci-fi atmospherics. Born Ed Garro, UFO! has rele
 ased numerous singles on labels in both the United States and abroad, 
 but first came to wide attention with the Enemy Infiltration single, r
 eleased on Thermal Recordings in 1999. The string arrangement was so m
 emorable that it was even sampled by the respected U.K. label Trouble 
 on Vinyl for a release called Mission Control. The Future Is Listening
 , UFO!'s full-length debut, was released on Thermal in 2001. The album
  layered out-of-control hydraulics, alien communications, and human ar
 tifacts over relentless breakbeats for an out-of-this world sound like
  an extraterrestrial attack. He has released many singles and EPS sinc
 e then, including his latest EP, Level Up, which came out in 2022.  So
