 in Los Angeles in the mid-'90s, eventually settling on a lineup that i
 ncluded Raúl \"El Bully\" Pacheco, Ulises Bella, Jiro Yamaguchi, Cut 
 Chemist, Chali 2na, Wil-Dog Abers, Mairo Calire, Rene \"Spinobi\" Domi
 nguez, Justin \"Niño\" Porée, Asdrubal Sierra, and Jabu. After makin
 g their name on the local club circuit, the group made an appearance o
 n the urban late-night talk show Vibe! and released its self-titled de

 an EP, Coming Up, in 2003. A third full-length, Street Signs, which fe
 atured a changed lineup (both Cut Chemist and Chali 2na, for example,

 onary state of mind, Raw G is notorious for passionate flow and deep p
 oetry. Born and raised in GDL City, Mexico, Raw G was dealt a great de
 al of struggle at a young age. After losing her father, she began expr
 essing her feelings of pain through writing, and began identifying to 
 such artists like KRS-One, 2Pac and the Fugees, relating to the harsh 
 reality depicted in their music. In 1999 she moved to Oakland, Califor
 nia to start a new life as a mother. She began learning English by tra
 nslating rap songs. In the last few years, Raw G has stepped her music
  career up to the top of the list of up and coming artists from the ba
 y area. She has performed with artists such as KRS-One,Ghostface Killa
 h, Dead Prez,Immortal Technique, Mobb Deep, Mala Rodrigues and many mo
 re. She is currently participating in community events while recording
  a studio album for her solo project which will be release fall 2012.r
