DESCRIPTION:Saturday, Novemember 3rd, we're happy to present another i
 nstallment of MIGHTY Real w/ resident David Harness and, New York City
  legend, Timmy Regisford.\nTimmy Regisford is simply put, one of the g
 reat legends of dance music. The inception of his internationally accl
 aimed Club Shelter parties in NYC since 1991 helped pioneer the soulfu
 l house music sound that has shaped the face of house music today.\nTr
 inidad-born, Regisford is known for his brand of soulful dance music. 
 He started in 1985 at WBLS radio station in New York City, where he wo
 rked as Assistant Music Director, later being promoted to head Music D
 irector of the station.  In 1988, he became A&R Director of Atlantic 
 Records, signing such acts as Miki Howard and Levert. His next career 
 step embarked on working for MCA Records as their A&R Director, where 
 he developed artists Loose Ends and Colonel Abrams. He would soon go o
 n to sign acts Guy and Eric B & Rakim. Regisford later became Vice Pre
 sident of A&R at Motown Records, signing acts Milira, Blaze, Basic Bla
 ck, Today, and Johnny Gill. Along with his A&R work for these labels h
 e is credited in many remix projects with Patti LaBelle, Steel Pulse, 
 New Edition, Bobby Womack, Gladys Knight & the Pips, The Boys, Diana R
 oss, Gerald Alston and Stevie Wonder. In 1996, Regisford became Vice P
 resident of A&R at Dreamworks Records. Timmy Regisford was also one of
  the founding people behind the Shelter parties in New York City, as w
 ell as the resident DJ.\nMIGHTY real is a semi-monthly event at Mighty
  that showcases the roots, present and future of the deeper sides of h
 ouse, soul and disco funk. The night brings San Francisco some of the 
 biggest names that define house music to play alongside local favorite
