 ow about urban Jewish-American identity, the Israeli-Palestinian confl
 ict and the human need for a place of belonging, of home. It is a piec
 e of documentary theater based on a trip taken by the writer/performer
  to Israel and the occupied West Bank  in 2007. Actor-dancer-poet Sar
 ia Idana weaves spoken word with cultural dance styles, the personal 
 with the political; she speaks in her own voice and in the voices of s
 eventeen characters, American, Israeli and Palestinian. \n \nSaria I
 dana is a theater, literary and music artist, committed to freedom of
  expression as a means to develop action connection and intimacy. Her 
 work focuses on personal and global struggle in conjunction with human
  resiliency. She has worked with theater and dance companies in New Yo
 rk and Los Angeles including La Mama ETC, WE GOT ISSUES, Great Leap, C
 ontra-Tiempo and the Moving Torah Company. Her poetry has been feature
 d in print and on audio compilations. Her album of original poetry and
  music compositions about Jewish identity and the Israeli-Palestinian
