  dr ISRAEL is a Brooklyn-based revolutionary artist, vocalist, produce
 r, and songwriter, with releases on ROIR, Wordsound, and MOD Technolog
 ies. The dr’s work has always had a foundation in the deep tradition
  of dub, dancehall, and reggae. But what makes him stand out is his ab
 ility to fuse a sonically devastating bass and politically conscious b
 aritone, with drum and bass, hip hop, even punk and metal. He has coll
 aborated with Bill Laswell, Mad Professor, Lee Perry, Dr No, Sepultura
 , Rancid, Sublime, Bernie Worrell, and DJ Krush, to name a few, and ha
 s received accolades from Rolling Stone, Vibe, L.A. Times, and Village
  Voice.  Following up on a long and fruitful discography that include
 s the underground hit album Inna City Pressure, and Dreadtone Internat
 ional, and the chart topping Patterns of War, he has sung and written 
 for Bill Laswell’s project, Method of Defiance’s Jahbulon, and Lee
  Scratch Perry’s Rise Again.\nIn 2012, the dr will launch an ongoing
  series of releases, titled “The Liberation Chronicles.” The first
