 the top of all lists. Classic albums such as, Quik Is The Name (1990) 
 and Way 2 Funky (1992) solidified DJ Quik in the 90’s Gangster Rap e
 ra of Hip Hop. Having put out several other albums since then, DJ Quik
  made his career producing for others. Known for his unique style of p
 roduction, DJ Quik has been sought out by artists such as Jay-Z, Ludac
 ris, Snoop Dogg, and many more to work on their projects. From a young
  age, Quik started to develop his musical prowess. At the age of 12 he
  was teaching himself how to play different instruments, and by the ag
 e of 21, he had become a multi-platinum selling artist. After having r
 elease his first couple albums, Quik launched his Mad Science Records 
 label. Here he would release Trauma (2005) and (2006) among many other
 s that followed. Most recently, in 2016, DJ Quik put out the EP, Rosec
 rans, a collaboration he did with Compton native rapper, Problem.\r\n\
