re TBA…\n\nOn April 25, 2015, the small, impoverished Himalayan nati
on of Nepal was hit with the biggest earthquake it has suffered in 80
years, somewhere between 7.8 and 8.1 on the Richter scale. There have
been over 50 aftershocks so far, some over 6.0.  To date, the confirm
ed death toll is above 7,000 but many estimate it could reach 10,000 a
nd higher.  The quake affected 8 million people across 39 districts.
Huge numbers of families have been displaced, houses destroyed and som
e villages practically wiped out.  As is the case with earthquakes, t
he danger for increased disease, such as cholera, is very high in the
weeks following. In addition to the human cost, many of Nepal importan
t national heritage places, landmarks and famous temples were damaged
 or destroyed.\nContribute directly: http://www.gofundme.com/t9vnzk\n\n
