DESCRIPTION:Last February MIGHTY brought you JFK of MSTRKRFT, now we a
 re proud to present the other half of the acclaimed group, AL-P. Pleas
 e join us on Friday, December 9th, for an intimate night of music.  A
 l-P was producer for Black Cat 13, Death from Above 1979's album You'r
 e a Woman, I'm a Machineand The Sick Lipstick's Sting Sting Sting. Wel
 l before MSTRKRFT, Al-P and Keeler collaborated in the late 1990s, the
 n lived in different cities as Al-P moved to New York and worked at th
 e studios Sound on Sound and Chung King, and did some recording for Ja
 y-Z and Wyclef Jean.  “We’re interested in making people feel like
  they want to dance, at least a little bit, so it’s all about whatev
 er it takes to get people there.” - MSTRKRFT  a little background on
  MSTRKRFT.......  MSTRKRFT (pronounced \"Master-craft\") is an electro
 nic music group from Toronto (The Beaches), Ontario, Canada who are si
 gned to Dim Mak Records. The group was started in 2005 by JFK formerly
  of Death from Above 1979 and Al-P formerly of the Mississauga electro
 pop group Girlsareshort. The duo have been close friends, as well as w
 ork partners, for a long time. MSTRKRFT also produced Die Mannequin's 
 first EP, How to Kill, and Magneta Lane's second LP, Dancing With Dagg
 ers.  Nisus' sets seem to astonish every time, flowing seamlessly thro
 ugh electro bangers to womping dubstep explosions and tech-funk tweaks
 , leaving crowds in an inspired mess of sweat and revelation. He runs 
 the bass game in SF like no other. Holding down a two year residency f
 or powerhouse promoter blasthaus. Nisus has supported acts such as Fak
 e Blood, Vitalic, The Bloody Beetroots, and Boys Noize at Mighty, Mezz
 anine, and The Independent. His productions are whipped up electronic 
 analog bass frenzies that have gained momentum through his recent winn
