 1 UP’ will be a continued series of events at the venue with focus o
 n a diverse roster of female talent. A two pronged premise, a portion 
 of proceeds at the bar will be donated to a featured non-profit either
  founded by or centered around a female figure.\nTalent for the launch
  event will feature a strong line-up of prominent artists, Umami (102.
 1 & Golden State Warriors), DJ Lady Fingaz (Peaches Crew & La Femme De
 adly Venoms), Red Corvette (Women in Music Festival) and Sweetest Thre
 at (Another Party Fam).\nThe event will be FREE at the door with donat
 ions welcomed, but a portion of the bar proceeds will be donated to th
 e PURPLE PAM FOUNDATION (www.purplepamfoundation.com) which was founde
 d in the wake of the passing of Oakland’s legendary DJ, Pam the Funk
 stress of the group The Coup.\n1 UP is an important event for all thos
